Lykke Li "Wounded Rhymes" (Warner)
with cross-references citations and, as reflected in the last few weeks, it says very, very carefully work around (well, cheap joke), but on that text from the Wikipedia online fund I'm just not passed: "For me it was always clear that I would later do something with art. Life is just a mystery, the one most likely to come close to art. When I realized this, it was I obviously like my destiny looks like. I was wondering if it could be fashion or painting until I decided on music as a form of expression, "the Swedish singer Lykke Li 2008 music-base.de.
So far, so magical. Now, there may be a little unfair to bring those words in connection with the new album from the box, on the other hand, it may help to illustrate the height which it threatened if they continue to take on these very words. For if "Wounded Rhymes" is not something then it is this: art. Rather, perhaps, in fullscall diagram of a saying, Wunst. Or just a rather ordinary, in parts rather excessive pop album. This is in all of this Cry what is done to the pretty songwriter for weeks, even by the surprising, in fact, because finely rigeren debut "Youth Novels", certainly sobering. But despite all the well-intentioned electronic embellishments, despite all the nice staged monochrome portraits of the overall impression remains strangely unsatisfying.
felt little of the charm that such a Karin Dreijer Andersson surrounds alias Fever Ray, instead, a number hardly more convincing songs: "Youth Knows No Pain" Böllert los equally powerful and, unfortunately, rather mediocre, "Love Out Of Lust "remains low stress and the enervating Shanty" Unrequited Love“ tut man sich selbst schon ein wenig leid. Bei „Rich Kids Blues“ stimmt wenigstens die Dröhnung – satter Bassrock im Stile einer Melissa auf der Maur. Das nachfolgende „Sadness Is A Blessing“ („Sadness is a blessing, sadness is a pearl, sadness is my boyfriend, oh, sadness I'm your girl ...“) ist so platt geraten, dass wahres Mitgefühl zwangsläufig außen vor bleiben muss.
Soll aber keiner sagen, es gäbe keine Lichtblicke – „I Follow Rivers“ gefällt nicht nur durch das verquere, an den unmöglichsten Stellen eingestreute metallische Geklimper, auch die beiden ruhigeren Stücke „I Know Places“ und „Silent My Song "are successful. Clearly on the side have of course the Stampede "Get Some" - because you have to make our Lieblingsscientologen Beck has the compliment that he has made of all the songs the most promising for its revision, to catchy chorus ("Like a shotgun needs outcome, I'm your prostitute you gon 'get some "), safe number. Pout or not, as measured by the early praise but then too little.
